Yantras

Yantra, in Sanskrit, means liberation, "yam" means the body/object; and "trana" means liberation. Yantra is meant to liberate the body from the recurrent bondages and cycles of birth and rebirth.

Yantra is a machine turned out of tantric traditions, which, by virtue of their construction and the laborious rituals they pass through before use, possess positive occult powers beneficial to the users. Yantras are installed at home at designated places, or on the body and are used to worship connected deities at home or at temples or opportune locations, sometimes on mountains, in forests, or/and used in meditation. Yantras possess set patterns, symmetry, aesthetic appeal and attract immediate attention. Special yantras attributed to specific deities and powers are intended to deliver specific results, fulfil vows, grant wishes, vanquish evils and bring in peace and prosperity.

Yantra can be in any form, as long as it conforms to the specifications in the scriptures and passes through the rigours of rituals before use. They can take the shapes of a simple dot, circle, triangle, hexagon, pentagon, octagon, square, lotus, or fusion of various shapes, each one has its own significance of radiating power, magnetism, vibrations, energy, and reverberations, in seamless sync.
