Rituals

Rituals are dedicated spiritual offerings and deeds, as we seek relief from various malefic influences, or invoke the benevolence and blessings of the God, or to mark memorable occasions and even to perform obsequies.

Human life is full of confusion and uncertainty and, undoubtedly, the most chaotic times in our lives are the times when we are beset with problems related to - family, society, education, employment, money, children, spouse, legal, health and so on. It is during these testing times, that we need rituals the most. Thanks to our rich heritage, great saints and scholars, scriptures and epics, there is no dearth of rituals, specially ordained and finetuned to overcome every conceivable problem.

It has been proven beyond doubt that rituals performed in the right manner, prayers conducted to traditional precision, hymns chanted to clear diction/invocation and other imperative accompaniments have a very positive effect on the mind, body and soul. They relieve us of our problems, instil new confidence and positive vibes in us, and bestow better life filled with success, achievement and peace. They make a more efficient, contented and well- rounded person from out of us.

Counselling and Rituals has in its network a large band of Vedic pundits, scholars, temples and temple priests who are well versed in conducting such rituals, performing yagnas, homas and pujas, mostly inherited from their ancestry. We facilitate in conducting the right divine offering depending on the client’s requirement, even in the physical absence of the client and share the necessary proceedings with the client. Clients can proactively also choose any puja/havan/yagna to be performed and rest is taken care of by us. Puja is a ceremonial worship. It could be done by an individual at home, at a temple or by a priest/a set of priests at home or in a temple conforming to elaborate and meandering rituals.

Yagna/Homa, as opposed to puja, is a very elaborate ritual lasting for quite a good number of hours to weeks and months together, is a ritual involving fire wherein all the ingredients (homa items) are offered to the Fire God, who consumes them and blesses the performer (grihastha who performs this through a set of priests who conduct the rituals to the accompaniment of reciting necessary mantras).

To mention a few of the pujas/homas, the list is indicative, not exhaustive.

Someone who is in California wants to celebrate his birthday by performing a specific puja at a specific temple in Cuttack; someone in Raipur wants to perform a pooja in Rameshwaram on his wife's birthday; a couple from Delhi wants to perform a pooja in Tirupati on their wedding anniversary, there is no need now to skip the dates or performances.

Leave every detail to Counselling and Rituals and relax. We take care of your wish, and wherever videography is permitted, will share the proceedings with you. The prasadams and temple gifts like vermilion, sandal, anga vastram (piece of sacred cloth) etc., will be collected on your behalf and delivered to you.

Our Vedic priests will perform an exclusive puja (not clubbed with others) on client’s behalf after obtaining Sankalp and conduct a personalised puja wherein the client, if he so wishes, can participate through Google meet.
